Ukraine has never succeeded in anything “thanks”, always only “in spite of”. Therefore, these difficult trials, which have now fallen on our fate, we must use as much as possible in our own interests.
Political scientist Nikolai Davydyuk told Channel 24 about this. He also noted that today in the Rada it is very easy to pass all European laws, because all collaborators have become silent and are afraid to speak.
Davidyuk is sure that we really can and should move to the EU as quickly as possible. An active discussion is already underway in order to transfer funds from confiscated Russian property to Ukraine, the political scientist explains. The occupiers are now blackmailing the United States and Europe, they are threatening very strongly. We need to be very active, because we can simply be “thrown”, no matter how it sounds, adds Mykola Davidyuk.
The Russians “ruined” our property worth 600 billion dollars. We really need these funds confiscated from the Russians, we need to bring them to Ukraine as quickly as possible. Any politician who says that this is impossible will say so in the center of Mariupol, political scientist Davidyuk says.
In the near future, the EU plans to create a trust fund for the restoration of Ukraine. Who will lead it is still unknown, but Europe trusts the Ukrainian authorities, said the President of the European Council Charles Michel.
He also gave an example of already existing support, confirming that the EU listens to the Ukrainian authorities. According to Michel, twinning between regions and municipalities in Europe and regions and municipalities in Ukraine, which was proposed by Volodymyr Zelensky, was supported in Europe.

According to Kuleba, granting Ukraine the status of a candidate for EU membership in June 2022 will bring it closer to victory in the war with Russia. In his opinion, granting Ukraine candidate status in June will be a strong political step that will reliably strengthen Ukraine within the framework of the European integration project and correct a decade of mistakes of the policy of uncertainty .
Also, the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry assured that whatever the price that the EU would have to pay now, it is much lower than the price that would have to be paid if Putin won.
