According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy was hitting the settlement of Pechenegy. There, the occupiers tried to destroy the dam of the Pechenezh reservoir, but were unsuccessful. In total, then, due to the terrorist actions of the invaders, the infrastructure of more than 20 settlements suffered. Among them:

- Seversk,
- Soledar,
- Bakhmut,
- Ugledar ,
- Steppe,
- Nikopol,
- and Ochakov.
Despite the fact that the dam is intact, local authorities have warned residents of nearby communities about how they should act in case of danger.
As soon as people hear the alarm, you need to evacuate from their houses and go to the upper points of their settlements. This applies to the urban-type settlement of Pechenegy, the villages of Kitsovka and Pyatnitskoye, Chernenko emphasized.

The Pechenegskoye reservoir is located on the Seversky Donets River in the Kharkiv region. It was built mainly to supply the city of Kharkov with fresh water on the site of a small Kochetok reservoir built in 1936.

In Krivoy Rog liquidated the consequences of the Russians' missile attack on the dam. As of September 15, the water is receding due to the operational work of the services.
