Russia took the bodies of the dead, equipment and documents from the sunken Moskva

This was written by the Radio Liberty project – Crimea. Realities, with reference to the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Vadym Skibitsky. He also confirmed that the Moskva sank when it was skidding to the temporarily occupied Sevastopol.

Skibitsky said that Russia carried out a rescue operation on the sunken cruiser – it lasted at least 2 weeks. To do this, they attracted from 5 to 7 ships – rescue ships, boats, tugs. and must not fall into the hands of a third country. – said Vadim Skibitsky.

It is expected that this operation on “Moscow” was secret. The Russian military and authorities did not publicly announce its conduct.

More about the Moskva cruiser

  • The Russian cruiser Moskva is the same ship that was sent in a certain direction on the first day of a full-scale invasion. This happened when on board the defenders of the Serpent Island were offered to surrender, and in response they received the legendary phrase and slogan of the Ukrainian resistance: “Russian warship, go fuck yourself.”
  • On April 13, information appeared that a fire caught fire on the “Moscow”, and soon this was confirmed in Russia. The Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country reported that the cruiser was seriously damaged, but they kept silent about the causes of the fire.
  • The Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that the fire on the cruiser started after the Ukrainian Neptune anti-ship missile hit it.
  • A few days later, a short but eloquent video of exactly how the Moskva was burning appeared on the network.
  • Although Russia admitted that its largest and most expensive cruiser sank, truthful or at least more or less realistic data about the crew members who went down with the ship and died are not disclosed.
  • At the time of the sinking of the cruiser, there were approximately 510 crew members on board. At least half of them died, according to military analysts. However, Russia has officially recognized the death of only one soldier from “Moscow” – midshipman Ivan Vakhrushev.
