- In Energodar, on May 22, an explosion occurred in the house where the mother of collaborator Shevchik lives.
- An ally of the invaders often comes to visit her, and on that day he visited with two guards, because he understands the danger of his position, since even in the temporarily occupied city there is still resistance to the occupying authorities.
- It is not yet known for sure which caused the explosion. One of the versions is that the invaders, like so many times so far in the temporarily occupied territories, decided to remove Shevchik, who failed to cope with “his duties.”
- After this incident, the Russians began to look for the likely organizers of the assassination attempt . They broke into all the apartments of the house in which the explosion occurred. The occupiers also intensified their inspection at checkpoints and searched for a car with two men.
- After the explosion, Shevchik was taken in a car with the letter Z to the medical unit. Doctors found him with numerous burns, a concussion and a broken collarbone.
- Then the collaborator was taken away in the direction of the temporarily occupied Melitopol.
- According to the real mayor Dmitry Orlov, either local doctors refused to provide assistance to the traitor of Ukraine, or the invaders decided not to trust the doctors of Energodar.
