Since the beginning of the war, the invaders have killed 223 children/MFA
The Russian military is not only destroying Ukrainian cities, but also taking the lives of our citizens. Among them, unfortunately, are children.
As a result of Russia's armed aggression on the territory of Ukraine, 223 children were killed. These are the current data of juvenile prosecutors as of the morning of May 6.
Regions where children suffered
Unfortunately, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Ukrainian children suffered most in the Donetsk region. Other regions are also known:
- Donetsk region – 139,
- Kyiv region – 116,
- Kharkiv region – 96,
- Chernihiv – 68,
- Kherson – 46,
- Nikolaev – 44,
- Luhansk – 37,
- Zaporizhzhya – 27,
- Sumy – 17,
- Kyiv city – 16,
- Zhytomyr – 15.< /li>
In total, since the start of Russia's war against Ukraine, at least 631 children have been harmed. Unfortunately, over the past day, the number of victims among minors has increased. Thus, Russian aggression claimed the lives of 223 children. At least 408 more were wounded.
Juvenile prosecutors emphasize that numbers are not final.So far, they continue to establish data in those places where active hostilities are now underway, as well as in temporarily occupied and liberated from enemy military territories.
Two more deaths have become known over the past day
Russian infidels on Thursday, May 5, fired at the regional landscape park “Feldman Ecopark”. It is located in the urban-type settlement of Lesnoye, Kharkiv region. As a result of an enemy strike, a 15-year-old volunteer was killed. He was engaged in feeding, as well as the evacuation of animals.
It was also possible to detect another death of a minor. So, on April 23, a 17-year-old boy became a victim of the bombing. Then the enemy military shelled the village of Novoselovka, Pokrovsky district, Donetsk region.
Juvenile prosecutors also emphasize that infidels continue to destroy educational institutions. Thus, since the beginning of the war in the cities and villages of Ukraine, 1,607 educational institutions have been damaged. It is worth noting that 121 of them were completely destroyed.
The number of victims is growing daily
It is known that on the night of May 5, Russian infidels shelled the Donetsk region. As a result of enemy strikes, Kramatorsk suffered significantly. 25 people were injured at the hands of the invaders, six of them were sent to the hospital. The Donetsk OVA emphasized that there was no threat to the life of the hospitalized.
Also on May 4, the invaders fired at Svyatogorsk, Kramatorsk district. They also ended up on the territory of the Holy Dormition Lavra, where internally displaced persons were hiding. Seven people were injured by the enemy attack.
