As a result of the full-scale war of Russia against Ukraine, 240 children have already died. In total, at least 676 minors suffered from the actions of the Russian invaders.
This was reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General as of the morning of May 26. The department also reported on a number of crimes against children recorded by Ukrainian prosecutors.
Russian invaders kill children
In particular, during the recording of criminal offenses, prosecutors found that Russian kafirs fired at civilian cars. The tragedy occurred in the Nikolaevsky district of the Nikolaev region.
As reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General, as a result of a cynical and cruel shelling of a civilian car two children died.
It also became it is known that during the shelling of Mariupol, Donetsk region, a 16-year-old girl was injured.
How many children suffered from the Russians
According to the OP, as of May 26, most of the children suffered in the Donetsk region. There, at least 151 minors suffered at the hands of the occupiers. In the Kyiv region, 116 such cases were recorded.
In the city of Kyiv itself, another 16 children were injured as a result of shelling by the invaders. In general, as reported by the department, the following number of children suffered in different regions of Ukraine:
- in the Kharkiv region – 105 children;
- in the Chernihiv region – 68;
- in Luhansk region – 50;
- in Kherson region – 49;
- in Mykolaiv region – 45;
- in Zaporozhye region – 28;
- in Sumy – 17;
- in Zhytomyrskaya – 15.
The terrible crimes of Russia on May 24
The Office of the Prosecutor General reported on fixing at once a number of crimes committed by Russian invaders on May 24. So, as a result of shelling by the Russian military of the village of Krasnogorovka, Donetsk region, a 6-year-old child was seriously injured.
Because of the shelling, the girl was seriously injured in her lower limb. To save the life of a 6-year-old child, doctors had to amputate the damaged leg.
In addition, on May 24, a 9-year-old child was seriously injured due to the shelling of the city of Balakliya, Kharkov region, by the invaders.
Office of the Prosecutor General on crimes against children: fresh figures
- As of the morning of May 26, 2022, the Office of the Prosecutor General has already recorded more than 676 victims of children in Ukraine as a result of Russia's full-scale armed aggression.
- According to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 240 children died. More than 436 were injured.
- As noted in the department, these figures are not final, since work is underway to establish them in places of active hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
- In addition, 1883 educational institutions were damaged due to shelling and air bombardment by Russian invaders of Ukrainian cities and villages.
- At the same time, the opponents completely destroyed 178 educational institutions.
