The Russian invaders do not stop shelling Ukrainian settlements and trying to cordon off our fighters in the Bakhmut area. However, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine boldly hold the front line, holding back the enemy.
According to the General Staff, on the evening of March 3, the invaders are concentrating their main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Kupyansky, Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Miner directions.
The enemy seeks to surround Bakhmut
The enemy does not leave attempts to cordon off the city of Bakhmut. During the day, our defenders repelled numerous attacks in the areas of settlements:
- Vasyukovka,
- Dubovo-Vasilevka,
- Bakhmut, Donetsk region.
Enemy shelling was carried out in areas of settlements near the area of hostilities, in particular, Fedorovka, Orekhovo-Vasilovka, Dubovo-Vasilovka, Bakhmut, Ivanovskoye, Stupochki, Kleschievka, Kurdyumovka, Ozaryanovka, Dilievka, Mayorsk and Mayorsk.
What is the situation in other areas
- Volynskoye, Polesskoye, Severskoye and Slobozhansky directions: the enemy is holding units in the border areas. Mortar and artillery shelling took place in Medvedevka, Sumy and Kharkov regions.
- In the Kupyansk and Limansk directions, the enemy made artillery shelling near the line of collision, but was not successful with the offensive.
- Avdeevskoe and Shakhtyorsk directions: the enemy attacked our positions, carried out artillery and mortar attacks in areas of about 20 settlements.
- Zaporozhye and Kherson directions: the enemy is defending and carried out artillery shelling of about 15 settlements, in particular in the city of Kherson and the city of Ochakov, Mykolaiv region, killing and wounding among the civilian population.

During the day, the enemy launched 30 air and 6 missile strikes , and also fired more than 20 multiple launch rocket systems, in particular, on civilian infrastructure.
The threat of missile strikes by the Russian Federation remains high throughout Ukraine, the General Staff warned.
They added that in the Lugansk region, the occupation authorities are putting pressure on the local population, in particular on the most vulnerable segments of the population. They have disabled ATMs, so people cannot receive pensions and social benefits. Retirees and others have been encouraged to cash out on certain days, but this is not always possible.
Achievement of our APU in a day
Aviation of the Defense Forces inflicted 5 strikes on the areas of concentration of military equipment of the invaders, shot down an enemy plane and a drone. Rocket and artillery units also carried out numerous strikes against enemy targets.
As of March 3, 151,370 invaders have already been eliminated in Ukraine. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, only over the past day, our soldiers destroyed another 765 invaders. This data does not include wounded occupiers.
