Russian invaders decided to hold a “Russian flag day” in the occupied territories of Ukraine. On Monday, August 22, when the invaders celebrate this “holiday”, Russian flags were handed out in the occupied territories.
Russian actions took place in Melitopol and Mariupol
About the “celebration” on the occasion of the “Russian flag day” in the occupied territories, the editors of 24 channel were reported in the services . Russian invaders carried out two actions.
The “tricolor” action continued in the occupied Melitopol, Snezhnoye, Khartsyzsk and Volnovakha. There, Russians handed out ribbons and flags with the tricolor.
In Makiivka and Lugansk, the so-called “Victory Volunteers” handed out tricolors along with monuments about the history of the state flag of Russia and the rules for the responsible wearing of the symbol.
There was also an action “the flag of my government”, which the Russians held in Volnovakha, Melitopol, Kirov, Mariupol and Yenakievo. The invaders solemnly raised the Russian flag.
Ukrainians opposed the pseudo-holiday of the Russian invaders. In the temporarily occupied Melitopol, local residents burned several Russian flags. And in the captured Energodar, the occupiers did not manage to hold a pseudo-tricolor holiday at all.
Russia failed the preparation of “referendums”
- Russia is not able to hold pseudo-referendums in the occupied territories of Ukraine. For the fourth time, the invaders postponed the date of the so-called “referendum”.
- The Russians announced the holding of the “referendum” to the end of April, but they postponed the date to the beginning of May, then to the end of May, and finally to September 11th. But it seems that the invaders will not hold their pseudo-referendum on September 11 either.
- Deputy of the Kherson Regional Council Serhiy Khlan said that the preparation of the enemy for the “referendum” failed thanks to the patriotic Kherson residents and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
