Russian invaders captured the crew of the Liberian-flagged SMARTA cargo ship. The people were taken away in an unknown direction.

This was reported by the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada for Human Rights, Lyudmila Denisova, on the official telegram page. It is noted that, according to preliminary data, the prisoners were taken out in the direction of the temporarily occupied Donetsk.

Lyudmila Denisova said that the crew members of the ship were captured by the Russians on the territory of the Mariupol Commercial Sea Port. In addition to the crew, the invaders captured the wife of the captain of the ship, who was on board at that time.
