A morgue was built in the temporarily occupied Mariupol, which could serve the entire Donetsk region. And next to it, a diagnostic center was demonstratively built.
This channel 24 said the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol Petr Andryushchenko. At the same time, he noted that there is a large shortage of electricity in the city.
What is known about the new morgue in occupied Mariupol
Andryushchenko noted that the Russian invaders built a large 7,000-square-meter morgue in Mariupol.
This is the morgue. I don't know for whom. Are they building it for the entire Donetsk region? Or for the entire Russian army for the period of the counteroffensive?, – said the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol.
According to him, this morgue was built together with a diagnostic center, which the occupiers demonstratively built for as many as 69 beds.
But it doesn't work. That is, they once turned on all the equipment that they brought there, walked around, clicked, the propagandists took pictures and turned it off, – Andryushchenko said.
After all, he explained, there is not enough electricity in Mariupol to make this center work. Therefore, it is likely that a similar story will happen with this morgue.

Why do the invaders need this morgue
Andryushchenko noted that the Russians were faced with the fact that there were a lot of dead after they occupied the city. After all, at least 25 thousand Mariupol residents died.
In addition, according to our data, there were at least 6.5 thousand Russian military, which they themselves gathered according to fields. And this is said only about the Mangushsky and Nikolsky districts,” he noted.
The adviser to the mayor of Mariupol recalled that earlier the invaders equipped a morgue for the Russian army in the premises of the Azov market, next to which they built the already famous new quarter.
They were taken there, then exported to Russia. That is, they think that this will happen all the time there. In principle, we share their opinion,” Andryushchenko said.
He expressed the hope that when the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine goes there, this built morgue will really be needed for the Russian invaders at full power.
