Russian occupiers have begun to actively use Iranian-made drones. They attack the port infrastructure.
On September 23, Russian drones of Iranian production made 2 attacks on the Odessa region. Natalya Gumenyuk, the head of the press center of OK Yug, said this on the air of the national telethon. p>During the first attack, 2 drones hit the administrative building of the port area. One drone was shot down by our air defense forces. The second drone attack was also directed towards the port infrastructure. The day before, the enemy committed the same actions in Ochakovo to test their capabilities.
According to Gumenyuk, the Russians do not just attack with several drones at once. Their tactic is that when one drone is destroyed, another one will do the job.
The Russians want to completely destroy Ukraine, the port is a strategic facility. The functioning of the grain corridors, which the Russian dictator is dissatisfied with, fully explains the direction of the attack. Probably, the enemy again wants to dictate its terms in this direction,” Gumenyuk explained.
Add that the attacks with these drones began about 10 days ago from the Nikopol region. After that, the enemy used them in Ochakovo, on the Nikolaev direction and the line of collision.
Air defense cannot always detect drones
According to Gumenyuk, air defense cannot always react to drones, because they pass at a low altitude. However, Shahid-136 has a very loud motor sound, reminiscent of a moped or chainsaw. So people should pay attention to it. If you hear the sound of an engine from the sky, immediately head for cover, but at the same time stay away from critical infrastructure and administrative buildings.
Pay attention! Gumenyuk explained the sound of an explosion that was heard at a gas station in Odessa during air alert. The drone did not work there, and the explosion occurred due to non-compliance with security measures during the repair work.
