The Russians have been trying to storm the Ukrainian Bakhmut for more than half a year. But they were prevented by the Ukrainian military, who continue to destroy the enemy, holding the defense of the city.

In the situation with Bakhmut, the tactics of the Russian troops is to cut off the city's communications with other settlements of Donbass. Oleksandr Demchenko, a journalist from Donbass.Realii, spoke about this on air on Channel 24.

Russian Tactics in Bakhmut

The journalist notes that there are two more tracks left to leave Bakhmut. One of them leads to Seversk, and the second leads to Chasovaya Yar and Konstantinovka.

Judging by what representatives of the PIK “Wagner” say, we know what they attribute to themselves victory ahead. But from what they say, they are leaving from the south, from Kleshcheevka, in the direction of cutting off the Bakhmut highway. Alexander Demchenko emphasized.

From the north they are trying to cut off the railway line from Bakhmut to Seversk. It no longer works as intended, but it is a defensive line.

The situation near Ugledar

The interlocutor also said, that in addition to the Bakhmut direction, the situation is very poor in the Ugledar direction. After all, there Russian troops are trying to attack from two sides – from the south and from the east.

Ugledar is such a small town located in the steppe and almost continuous high-rise buildings. It is cut off from the general urban agglomerations around, – explains Alexander Demchenko.

According to him, reinforced concrete structures, which became multi-storey buildings, are a convenient place for defense in the steppe. However, on the other hand, the enemy can inflict massive artillery strikes on the city, given that it is cut off from other agglomerations.
