This information was reported by the speaker of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Motuzyanyk in the evening report, Channel 24 reports.

In the Krivoy Rog and Nikolaev directions, the invaders carried out a fiery defeat along almost the entire line of combat confrontation, – Motuzyanyk emphasized.
According to him, in preparation for offensive and counter-offensive operations in the area of the city of Berislav, Kherson region, the Russians deployed 3 heavy flamethrower system TOS-1 “Pinocchio”.
It is known that TOS-1 Pinocchio has 30 guides for unguided rockets. They are mounted on a turntable. The Russian complex uses a special fire control system. It consists of an optical sight, a laser rangefinder, a roll sensor and an electronic ballistic computer. It should be noted that with the help of a laser rangefinder, distances to the target are determined with an accuracy of 10 meters.
Alexander Motuzyanik noted that the invaders are trying to strengthen the Berislav area with units of the National Guard and rifle battalions of the mobilization reserve, the so-called 1st Army Corps of the General up to two thousand people.
