This was stated in a comment to Channel 24 by the head of the Avdiivka city military-civilian administration, Vitaliy Barabash. According to him, the situation both in the city and along the line of defense around it is very difficult.
“On average, about 6-8, sometimes even 10 missiles fly into the city per day. In terms of positions, there are still about the same number around the city,” he said.
Barabash noted that at night there were single arrivals both in the old part of the city and in the central one. And in the morning, the invaders launched a massive shelling and launched a missile strike. It also flew to the village of Lastochkino near Avdeevka.
“For the last week and a half, something has been flying very strongly into this settlement,” he said.
The head of the Avdiivka city military-civilian administration noted that the intensity of the fighting is undulating.
Sometimes it's very hot, sometimes it's a little calmer. But not a minute that it was quiet in the city – no, – said Barabash.

“On average, about 200-300 occupiers in our direction die per day. Approximately, we count three hundredths on average,” Barabash said.

In his opinion, the invaders have no problems with reserves. This is evidenced, in particular, by information transmitted from the temporarily occupied territories. The Russians have enough technology.
They are good with reserves. There are a lot of personnel in Makeevka, Yasinovataya, in Donetsk itself. There is no “shell hunger” as they say about it, he said.
The head of the Avdiivka city military-civilian administration is convinced that now, due to changeable weather, Russians cannot drive vehicles.

Vitaly Barabash noted that the statements of the head of the Wagner PMC about the alleged “shell hunger” of his mercenaries are most likely personal disputes between Yevgeny Prigozhin and the top military leadership of Russia. Like, they settle accounts. Barabash believes that the most effective way to do this is simply not to give ammunition, personnel, equipment so that the mercenaries fail the operation.
“For example, in Bakhmut. It is clear that Prigozhin would fall into a certain disfavor with their under-fuhrer, under-tsar. When they set real combat missions, then, believe me, they have enough ammunition, and equipment, and personnel,” he summed up.
