Occupants shell the occupied territories and blame the Armed Forces of Ukraine for this. The invaders do this on purpose in order to enlist the support of the local population.
The General Headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the construction on February 20 reported cases of attacks by the invaders of the occupied territories in the Kherson region.

And in order to form a negative attitude towards the Defense Forces of Ukraine, the occupiers also continue to shell civilian objects in the settlements of Kakhovka and Holoprystansky districts of the Kherson region.
The situation in the occupied territories
The General Staff reports that the occupiers continue the forced Russian passportization of Ukrainian citizens in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region.
The Russian occupying so-called authorities in Skadovsk and Kalanchak, threatening with the confiscation of personal property, are forcing the process of obtaining Russian passports and re-registration of the business of movable and immovable property under Russian law to be accelerated, the construction says.
They add that in case of absence Russian passports to pensioners are threatened to leave them without pension payments. As a result, social tensions arose among local citizens and fears about the loss of their own property and business.
The threat of rocket attacks throughout Ukraine
The General Staff stressed that the threat of further Russian air and missile strikes remains high throughout Ukraine.
Today, according to the department, the enemy struck 3 missile and 22 air strikes. He made more than 30 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems.
Aviation of the Defense Forces in a day delivered 16 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the occupiers and a strike on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile system in a firing position.
The situation in all directions of the front
According to the data of the General Staff, the enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Kupyansky, Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Miner directions.
No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groupings were found in the Volynsky, Polessky, Seversky and Slobozhansky directions.
Front-line villages under shelling:
- During the day, the areas of the settlements of Karpovichi, Timonovichi and Yanzhulovka of the Chernihiv region were subjected to enemy shelling; Bunyakino, Atinskoye, Stukalovka, Iskriskovschina, Zapsilye, Pokrovka and Mayskoye, Sumy region.
- 20 districts of settlements in the Kharkov region were also under enemy shelling, among them: Veterinary, Glubokoe, Morokhovets, Volchansk, Ohrimovka, Budarki , Bologovka, Kamenka, Poplar and Zapadnoe.
On the Kupyansky and Limansky directionsthe enemy fired on the settlements of Dvuhletnoe, Peschanoe, Krakhmalnoe and Pervomaiskoye in the Kharkiv region; Stelmakhivka, Ploshchadka, Nevskoye, Krasnopopovka, Dibrova in the Luhansk region and Disputed Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction more than 15 districts of settlements were shelled, in particular, Razdolevka, Vasyukovka, Zheleznyanskoe , Dubovo-Vasilovka, Bakhmut, Kleshchievka, Stupochki, Druzhba, Severnoye and Zheleznoe, Donetsk region.The opponents made artillery shelling of more than 20 settlements. In particular, these are Novobakhmutovka, Avdeevka, Vodyanoye, Pervomayskoye, Vesele, Bogoyavlenko, Novoukrainka, Prechistovka, Shakhtyorskoye and Neskuchnoye of the Donetsk region. The enemy also launched air strikes in the area of Alexandropol, Avdiivka, Maryinka and Vuhledar.
In the Zaporizhia direction, areas of 23 settlements, including Novopolie, Donetsk region, were hit by fire; Olgovskoye, Belogorye, Malaya Tokmachka, Pavlovka, Novoivanovka, Kamenskoye, Zaporozhye, Vyshetarasovka and Ilyinka of the Zaporozhye region. Enemy air strikes were recorded near Novopol, Donetsk region, and Malinovka and Malaya Tokmachka, Zaporozhye region.
In the Kherson direction, Kherson, as well as areas of more than 30 settlements, suffered from enemy artillery fire. Among them are Zmievka, Berislav, Veseloye, Burgunka, Ivanovka, Inzhenernoe, Kherson, Belozerka, Dneprovskoe, Berehove and Huge Kherson region.
