After the network reported the sound of drones and several explosions. And then about a strong fire at the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant, the Russian Ministry of Defense admitted a drone attack.

They say it took almost two hours to shoot down the drones. Of course, Ukraine is blamed for the attack.

“During the past night from 00.20 to 02.00, another attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out “terrorist attacks” using Aircraft-type UAVs against objects on the territory of the Russian Federation,” – says a message from the enemy department.

The Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country stated that allegedly their air defense systems intercepted unmanned aerial vehicles over the territories of the Kursk (1 UAV), Lipetsk (2 UAVs) regions and destroyed a UAV over the territory of the Tula region.

True, doubts arise regarding the veracity of these words. After all, at least in the Lipetsk region, the Russians definitely failed to intercept the drones. This is proven by vivid videos of a burning plant, which were actually hit by drones.

Subsequently responded to the night explosions and the governor of the Lipetsk region of Russia Igor Artamonov. He cynically noted that despite the videos published online with footage of the fire, there is nothing to worry about.

“I understand that everyone is excited about social networks with videos and messages. The intelligence services are checking information about drones, just like the original source of the video”, noted

By the way, locals also publish video of the consequences of the strikes on the plant. The footage shows that several very strong fires broke out on the territory of the plant. They note that two to four drones arrived, and that other industrial facilities were also attacked.
