The Russian Federation may suspend intensive military operations after the “elections” – Yevlash

by alex

The Russian Army may suspend hostilities for some time after the so-called presidential elections in Russia.

This was stated by the head of the press service of the Operational-Strategic Group of Troops Khortitsa Ilya Yevlash on the air of the United News telethon.

According to him, the occupiers are now encountering fierce resistance from the Defense Forces. Also, the weather is quite unfavorable for offensive actions, since heavy equipment gets stuck in the mud.

Now watching

– Of course, we have time to prepare our defensive structures, reserves and develop tactics. Studying exactly how the enemy will act and how we can counteract him. Of course, we need more weapons, more people, since we also need to rotate and strengthen our positions with high-quality specialists, — said Yevlash.

He said that Ukrainian intelligence reports that the occupiers need to report and allegedly show their power for the so-called elections in Russia.

— But the enemy is also not doing so well. Most likely, these intensification of hostilities will stop after the so-called elections in Russia after some time, — he noted.

Evlash added that this is why the Russian army imposes such a frantic intensity of battles, sparing neither people, throwing them into meat assaults, nor their planes, nor equipment.

About the long delay of US support

According to Evlash, this long delay is actually noticeable.

—Thank God that we still have many partners who continue to supply us with weapons and ammunition. But of course, the United States is one of Ukraine’s strategic partners in the war against the Russian Federation. We need their support already, — he said.

Delay of US aid to Ukraine

February 13 The US Senate passed a bill worth more than $95 billion, which includes financial aid for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan. Of these, $60 billion is for Ukraine.

But Speaker Johnson threatened to “bury” the US aid bill for Ukraine due to its lack of protection of its own borders from migrants. The House of Representatives then went into winter recess until February 28.
