Russian occupiers continue to build up the grouping of their troops in the Kharkov region, but this is not enough for a full-scale offensive and breakthrough of our defense.
This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky on Thursday, May 30.

According to Syrsky, the enemy continues to build up the grouping of its troops in the direction of the main attack of Strelech — Liptsy and in the Volchansk region, by transferring additional regiments and brigades from other directions and training grounds.

— However, these forces are now not enough for a full-scale offensive and breakthrough of our defenses. In addition, the enemy’s actions are complicated by strengthening our defense due to timely decision-making on the transfer of reserves to threatening directions, — the message says.
The creation of an ammunition reserve, according to him, also influenced the reduction of its offensive capabilities and the effective defeat of the invaders.
Syrsky added that because of this, the enemy switched to the tactics of hitting our positions with artillery fire and KAB strikes.
— In these conditions, the physical destruction of carrier aircraft of KABs, reconnaissance UAVs and fire spotters, electronic warfare protection of one’s troops, camouflage and use of dummies, — he noted.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces emphasized that the Defense Forces are improving air defense control systems, its automation and combination with the fire weapons of the ground forces in combination with the electronic warfare system.
Sirsky also reported that he listened to each commander regarding readiness for active operations, made decisions on problematic issues and checked the practical work of the battalion commander in destroying the enemy’s firing position.
