Russian occupiers are trying to raise tensions ahead of possible attacks on Ukraine's energy grid this winter. They, in particular, conduct tests of tactical aircraft.
The head of the joint press center of the Southern Defense Forces, Natalya Gumenyuk, spoke about this on the air of the United News telethon.
Answering the question whether Ukraine will be able to see the Russian Federation preparing for a new wave of terror, she noted that “certain analytics” can be carried out. For example, monitor activity at airfields of Russian strategic aviation and launch vehicles in the Black Sea.

– We are observing the preparation of tactical aviation, including tests carried out with in-flight refueling. Obviously, they are trying with all their might to increase the degree of tension before the corresponding stage of cooling and the threat of shelling of the energy sector,” Gumenyuk emphasized.
She recalled that MiG-31 fighters, which the invaders are increasingly taking into the air for several hours, are carriers of Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles. Therefore, you should not ignore air raid signals.
According to Gumenyuk, the Russian Federation can use long MiG flights in an attempt to lull the vigilance of Ukrainians and thus influence the consciousness of citizens.
Gumenyuk also said that the Russian Federation did not withdraw surface and underwater launch vehicles to the Black Sea for a long time. They “were hiding at their bases because it was very stormy.”
Now there is no longer a powerful storm, so the occupiers withdrew the frigate with 8 Caliber missiles, ready for use.
Possible Russian strikes on the energy sector: what is known
The intelligence services of Great Britain and Estonia warned about the possible preparation of the Russian Federation for a new wave of attacks on the Ukrainian energy system. This may explain the pause in massive missile attacks: the occupiers are stockpiling missiles.

According to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in October the aggressor produced about 115 high-precision missiles with a range of more than 350 km. And the Russian Federation's reserves of such missiles can reach 870 units.
According to Natalya Gumenyuk, the Russians have stockpiled more than 800 missiles to attack the Ukrainian energy sector this winter. They place them in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
According to Energy Minister German Galushchenko, the Russian Federation will wait for stable sub-zero temperatures before it tries to repeat last year’s terror of the energy system.
