Russia is capable of continuing the so-called tactics of terrorism, when, due to the threat of strikes, prolonged alarms may be declared in Ukraine.
This was stated by the speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ignat on Radio Liberty, answering the question of whether the Russian Federation can organize alarms in Ukraine for 12 hours a day.
“We’ve been through this kind of anxiety before.” Previously, they simply lasted 20-30 minutes – takeoff and landing were practiced, but five times a day. It keeps you in suspense when the anxiety was there, disappeared, and half an hour later it started again. It also lasted for half a day. Plus, they used to take off for an hour and a half, that is, their tanks allow them to stay in the air for that long without refueling the MiG. And there were three or four such takeoffs about six months ago,” he explained.

According to him, during such threats the economy and business suffer, transport stops, in particular the metro, and educational institutions do not work, so Russia will use all the tools.
At the same time, he noted that there are no plans yet to divide Ukraine into danger levels in the event of prolonged alarms, since this decision requires a serious approach.
