Russian troops are regrouping near Avdeevka in the Donetsk region. A new wave of assaults is expected in the coming days.
The head of the Avdeevka city military administration, Vitaly Barabash, spoke about this on the Espresso channel.
According to him, the situation near Avdeevka is complicated. The occupiers are pressing, trying to storm the positions of the Ukrainian defenders.

“Now the occupiers are mainly carrying out activities with their infantry, and there is a regrouping on their part. They are bringing up a lot of equipment and transferring personnel from other directions. We understand that there will be a new wave in the coming days,” Barabash said.
Earlier, analysts from the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported that the Russian Federation had concentrated more than 40,000 Russian troops in the Avdeevsky direction.
