Russia has refrained from launching its main cruise missiles from heavy bombers for two months.
The last time the invaders dropped 36 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic aircraft was on September 21.
Taking this into account, the British Ministry of Defense intelligence suggests that the Russians used the pause to create significant reserves of this type of weapon.

“Russia is likely to use these missiles if it decides to repeat last year’s attempts to destroy critical infrastructure in Ukraine,” the British defense department notes.
British intelligence officers believe that the preparation for these attacks is the drone attacks of the Russian Federation, which Ukraine has been enduring lately.
In particular, the British defense department believes that about fifty attack drones launched by the Russian army on November 18-19 from the Kursk and Krasnodar regions, in particular in the direction of Kiev, according to the occupiers’ plan, were supposed to worsen the air defense of Ukraine.
In addition, British intelligence officers believe that by launching the Shaheds, the Russians sought to form a combat space before winter attacks on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine.
The full-scale war in Ukraine has been going on for the 636th day.
