The occupiers began the third wave of active operations as part of the offensive in the Avdiivka direction.
This was reported by the commander of the operational-strategic group of troops Tavria Alexander Tarnavsky.
He noted that Ukrainian defenders and defenders are steadfastly holding the defense in the Avdiivka direction.

— In general, in the Tauride direction, the enemy’s losses in manpower and armored vehicles are growing – 8 tanks were destroyed, and the total losses in manpower are more than 700 people. In the Tavria operational zone, the enemy carried out 11 airstrikes, conducted 56 combat engagements and carried out 973 artillery shellings,” he wrote in Telegram.
The total enemy losses were 706 people.
51 units of military equipment were destroyed, in particular:
- 8 tanks,
- 13 armored fighting vehicles,
- 8 artillery systems,
- 2 air defense systems,
- 15 UAVs,
- 5 cars.
Also, 2 ammunition depots and 4 important enemy facilities were destroyed. Another 44 enemy vehicles were damaged.
At the same time, the offensive operation in the Melitopol direction continues.
Let us remember that a few days ago it was reported that Russia suffered losses, but is preparing for a new wave of attacks in the Avdeevsky direction.
