During attacks on Ukraine, Russian troops began to use Kh-59 and Kh-69 missiles more often.
This was announced by the speaker of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Ilya Yevlash on the air of the One News telethon.
— Recently, the enemy has begun to use Kh-59 and Kh-69 missiles much more actively to hit our infrastructure facilities. They are not very different in their characteristics, but the X-69 is more modernized: it has a greater range and power, — he said.
The Russians use these missiles to destroy various Ukrainian facilities, in particular energy ones.

According to an Air Force representative, the Kh-69 missile was first used against Ukrainian infrastructure in February of this year.
— After a short break, the enemy resumed his massive attacks and, of course, he will continue them as long as he sees strategic feasibility and has means of destruction, — added by Evlash.
He noted that the main goal of the Russian Federation is to destroy Ukraine, disable the infrastructure and cause maximum damage.

Today, the Russian Federation fired 34 air, ground and sea-based missiles at Ukraine. Air defense forces managed to shoot down 21 air targets.
The target of the shelling was energy facilities in the Dnepropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk and Lvov regions.
DTEK reported that equipment at four thermal power plants of the company was seriously damaged during the attacks.
