The Russians did not calculate their forces to effectively hold the entire front in the war against Ukraine. Any breakthrough in the enemy's defense will lead to new successful actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Unlike the invaders, the Ukrainian military is better trained, more professional and more motivated. Military expert Pavel Narozhny told this to Channel 24.
The reasons for the success of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The expert noted that the Russian army is not enough in number to hold such a huge front that they have in Ukraine.
This is 200 thousand people for 1300 kilometers – this is not enough. If you put them on the same square, then they will stand 30 meters from each other. We understand that not all soldiers are on the front line. There are also tank troops, artillerymen, repairmen, cooks, etc. They are simply not enough, – the specialist explained.
In his opinion, the Armed Forces of Ukraine made a diversionary maneuver, keeping the enemy in the Kherson region in tension.
“The elite troops, who were supposed to resist, were withdrawn from the Kharkiv region to the Kherson region. After that, the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit and broke through from 2 to 5 kilometers a section of the” first line “of defense, brought armored troops there, and then it was already” a matter of technology. “Our troops are highly mobile , and we saw that after three days the Armed Forces of Ukraine were already 50 kilometers behind enemy lines,” Narozhny said.
Do the invaders have any motivation
According to the observer, both the Russians and the “Ldnrovites” do not have enough motivation for the war.
“They understand that they are working for the Russians as a” human shield. “That is, they simply throw them into the hottest spots, under the most motivated Ukrainian troops. The Russians came to “earn three kopecks”, and here it turns out that high-precision artillery is working on them, very competent Ukrainian army men, and it will be very difficult to earn these “three kopecks,” the expert believes.
< p>He added that he also does not believe that the Belarusians, if they decide to go to war against Ukraine, will be somehow motivated.
What could be the motivation? They came to “conquer a little territory.” Everyone understands perfectly how they live in a dictatorial regime when they are lied to. Everyone understands that there are no fascists here and no pressure on the Russian-speaking population – all those fairy tales that Russian propaganda has been telling for years, – the specialist emphasized.
In his opinion, today Russia is trying to wage a “colonial war” against Ukraine.
“From their side – low-motivated, but in large numbers, soldiers, from our side – a smaller number, but high motivation, high training, high mobility and good American weapons,” Narozhny concluded.
