According to weather forecaster Natalka Didenko, a cold atmospheric front passes through Ukraine on May 10, so dry and sunny weather will prevail throughout the day. Light rain is expected only:
- Sumy region,
- Poltava region,
- Kharkiv region,
- and in the evening in the East.
But most of the territory of Ukraine will be with dry weather. The wind on Tuesday will blow from the north-west, on the Left Bank of Ukraine its gusts will reach strong, up to 15-20 meters per second, including coastal areas.
The air temperature next night will be low, +3…+7 degrees, even frosts on the ground are possible in some places. During the day on May 10 it will get warmer up to +15…+19 degrees, in Transcarpathia and in the south of the Odessa region it will be warmer – up to +18…+22 degrees.
Fresher air is expected in Lugansk, Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava regions – +12…+15 degrees. On May 10, the weather in Kyiv will be dry, fresh and windy.
When the heat comes to Ukraine
As Didenko said, on Thursday, May 12, the heat will come to Ukraine. The thermometers will show +20…+28 degrees.
But at the end of the week the air temperature will politely return to the current climatic limits, rain will increase with thunderstorms. – added the weather forecaster.
