The radius of the shock wave during the Russian missile attack on the city of Kremenchug (Poltava region) reached 1.5 – 2 km. As a result of the shelling, ordinary houses were damaged: windows were broken and roofs were damaged.
Dmitry Lunin, the head of the Poltava Regional Police Department, spoke about this on the air of the United News telethon.
– There was really a lot of damage the number of apartments, houses and roofs within a radius of a missile strike of 1.5 – 2 km. Yesterday we recorded broken windows and damaged roofs. Therefore, the number of (damaged, — Ed.) apartments and premises, I think, will be more than several hundred, — Lunin noted, but urged to wait for the experts' conclusion.
Russian troops attacked Kremenchug yesterday at 17:25. Search work in the city has been completed.

As a result of the strike, one person died, another 31 were provided with medical assistance. 16 people were hospitalized and are being treated by doctors.
Among the victims there are three children, they are being treated on an outpatient basis.
On the morning of Saturday, September 23, a specialized city commission began work, which should examine objects near the site of the Russian missile strike and establish the extent of the damage.
Lunin assured that people whose property was damaged will receive compensation.
In addition, work on installing windows and repairs will begin today roofs They are scheduled to be completed by the end of next week.
According to Lunin, clearer information about the extent of damage after the attack will be available on Monday.
