As of now, the government and military leadership are not considering the introduction of electronic subpoenas.
This was stated by the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Fedor Venislavsky during a press conference at the Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.
There will be no electronic agendas now
According to Venislavsky, the question of the possibility of issuing electronic subpoenas is not being raised now — this is the general position of the Ministry of Defense, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky, the Office of the President and the relevant committee of the Rada.
Now watching
— When the National Defense and Intelligence Committee was considering the bill, we discussed all sensitive issues for several months. One of them — the possibility or impossibility of issuing subpoenas through some electronic means of communication. It was agreed by consensus that it was now premature, — said the people's deputy.
He added that changes to laws that could provide for notification or electronic subpoenas are also not currently being discussed.
Venislavsky noted that as of the morning of June 26, according to information from Deputy Head of the Ministry of Defense Ekaterina Chernorenko, 2 million 370 thousand Ukrainians updated their military registration personal data. The majority did this through the Reserve+ application, in second place — CNAPs, on the third — TCC and SP.
Recall that according to the new mobilization law, every person liable for military service between the ages of 18 and 60 must update their credentials. All persons liable for military service, starting from May 18, 2024, must update their credentials within 60 days.
