The Prytula Foundation brought a record batch of armored vehicles to Ukraine: the first Spartans arrived

by alex

The Serhiy Prytula Charitable Foundation purchased 101 tracked armored vehicles. Already on March 1-2, the first 24 armored vehicles arrived in Ukraine.

Prytula stressed that for the first time our army receives such a large batch of armored vehicles not through international assistance, but thanks to donations from hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians.

What was purchased for the APU

Among the 101 purchased machines, there are eight models of equipment:

  • FV103 Spartan – armored personnel carrier;
  • Samaritan – armored tracked recovery vehicle;
  • Sultan – armored tracked command vehicle;
  • Stormer – armored tracked vehicle for the installation of an anti-aircraft system;
  • Shielder – an armored tracked vehicle for the transport of ammunition, personnel for the installation of anti-tank missile systems;
  • FV432 Bulldog – armored personnel carrier;
  • FV434 – armored tracked vehicle with a crane for repair and evacuation;
  • Samson is an armored tracked vehicle for the evacuation of armored vehicles.

Prytula thanked everyone for their contributions. He noted that together they continue to lend a shoulder to our Defense Forces at a new level.

Where will the armored personnel carrier be sent

After being imported into Ukraine, the Foundation team transfers the armored cars to the Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the military will be distributing them among brigades.

They emphasized that tracked vehicles are extremely important for both defense and offensive, especially in rainy and off-road conditions. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are already using FV103 Spartan armored vehicles and related models, since they were previously transferred by the allies.

Recall that the Prytula Foundation announced a large collection for British armored personnel carriers on November 2, 2022. In a day and a half, they managed to collect 236 million hryvnias. The entire batch has already been paid for and is leaving for Ukraine.
