A new batch of property belonging to the brothers of former MPs and traitors Viktor Medvedchuk and Taras Kozak worth almost UAH 400 million has been transferred to state management.
This was reported in a statement by the SBU and the State Bureau of Investigation.

The court has seized additional assets belonging to the brothers of the former MPs and traitors.

We are talking about land, corporate rights, property complexes and vehicles of four enterprises in Lviv. Among them are also — concrete plant and construction company.
These assets have been transferred to the National Agency for the Detection, Search and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA).
Consequently, the state will additionally control over 10 thousand m² of real estate and over 70 units of motor vehicles and construction equipment of the companies of Sergey Medvedchuk and Bohdan Kozak.

Note that in June of this year, both brothers of the former MPs were exposed in large-scale financial transactions.
The defendants used the enterprises under their control to steal funds by non-payment of taxes to the state budget.
Then Sergei Medvedchuk and Bohdan Kozak were notified in absentia of suspicion under Part 3 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (evasion of taxes, fees, (mandatory payments).
Then the first arrest of the suspects' property for more than 200 million UAH took place.
Now both defendants are hiding abroad. Comprehensive measures are underway to bring them to justice.
