In Lviv, they plan to build the largest in Ukraine rehabilitation center “Indestructible”. On July 12, his project was presented to the mayors of 12 Polish cities.
The project of the rehabilitation center was presented by the mayor Andrey Sadovy. He spoke with the mayors of the largest cities in Poland during an online meeting.

On July 12, Sadovy held an online meeting with representatives of the Union of Polish Metropolises. On it, the mayor of Lviv presented the project of the rehabilitation center “Unbreakable” (UNBROKEN) to the mayors of 12 largest cities in Poland and called for support for its implementation.
There was an opportunity to present the project of the UNBROKEN National Rehabilitation Center in Lviv to the mayors of 12 largest cities in Poland. I received assurances of support for our initiative and very specific ideas on sources of funding,” Sadovyi said.
He thanked the Union of Polish Metropolises and its director Tomasz Felek for organizing such a meeting.
“The Poles continue cause our sincere delight in the manifestations of solidarity and support!” – summed up the mayor.
Note that the Union of Polish Metropolises was created back in 1990. Since 1993 it has been operating as a foundation. The Council of the Union consists of the presidents of 12 central cities of the Polish metropolitan areas, including 10 member cities of the association of major European cities Eurocities – Bialystok, Bydgoszcz, Gdansk, Katowice, Lublin, Lodz, Poznan, Ryaszew, Warsaw and Wroclaw.

Briefly about the National Rehabilitation Center “Indestructible”
- Rehabilitation Center “Indestructible” will work on the basis of the First Territorial Medical Association of Lviv.
- It will cover powerful physical, psychological and psychosocial rehabilitation. The center will include reconstructive surgery, orthopedics and robotic prosthetics.
- More than 50,000 patients will be treated there annually and more than 10,000 operations will be performed. Victims will not only be fitted with prostheses, they will also be produced there.
- The preliminary cost of building the National Rehabilitation Center in Lviv is 77 million euros. Its construction will last approximately 2 years.
