A Russian passport is a “mark of an outcast”
In particular, adviser to the head of the President's Office Mikhail Podolyak spoke about this. He called the Russian passport “the mark of an outcast.”
According to him, any attempts to distribute Russian passports in Ukrainian territories are pointless and futile. After all, the Ukrainian passport today is considered in the world a symbol of courage and heroism, which cannot be said about the documents of the aggressor state.
Our people travel freely around the world without visas and borders. Why do they need a ticket to the Russian concentration camp? Podolyak asked rhetorically.
Putin wants to distribute Russian passports in the temporarily occupied territories: what is known
- Yesterday, on May 25, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree introducing a simplified procedure for issuing Russian passports in the territories of Kherson and Zaporozhye temporarily controlled by the invaders.
- By the way, this document only amends a similar decree on granting Russian citizenship to residents of the quasi-republics “DPR” and “LPR”, signed 2 years ago.
- In addition, the invaders simplify the process of applying for Russian citizenship and deported on the territory of the aggressor country of Ukrainians. They are almost forcibly given red passports.
- The same thing is happening in Mariupol, where infidels have already begun the process of issuing passports. The start was given by the so-called DNR. Adviser to the mayor of the city, Petr Andryushchenko, called it “the beginning of the actual annexation.”
- The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry condemned the absurd statements and actions of infidels, calling illegal passportization a gross violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, the norms and principles of international humanitarian law and Russia's obligations as an occupying state.
- They noted that there would be no legal consequences for the issuance of Russian passports. That is, citizens of Ukraine will remain citizens of Ukraine even if they receive 10 worthless passports from Russians.
