The decision to arrest Russian dictator Vladimir Putin if he arrives at the G20 (Group of Twenty) summit next year will be made by the Brazilian judicial system.
Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said this in a commentary foreign journalists. According to him, his country will decide on a possible arrest.
— If Putin decides to join (the G20 summit, — Ed.), that should be decided by the judiciary, not my government, — he told reporters.
Earlier, Lula da Silva said that the Kremlin dictator could allegedly calmly come to Brazil, and if he remains president, then Vladimir Putin “will never will be arrested”.
