On the evening of May 3, in the Rivne region, a terrible accident occurred on the Kyiv-Chop highway near the village of Sitnoye.
The police have already identified all 38 participants fatal crash.
According to law enforcement officers, the places of residence of all the victims have already been established. We are talking about 12 men, 6 of whom died, and 26 women, among them 20, unfortunately, did not survive. It is also known that among the victims of the accident are two teenagers aged 17.

The police reported that the search for relatives of four victims from the Kyiv region is currently ongoing.

What is known about the accident in the Rivne region
According to the police, the accident was provoked by the driver of a Mercedes-Benz Vito minibus, who decided to overtake and drove into the oncoming lane. While overtaking, he collided with a fuel truck. Further, the fuel truck also got into the oncoming lane and drove into a Setra passenger bus, which was traveling along the Kharkiv-Zgorzelets route. It is known that there were 35 passengers aged 17 to 69 and one driver on the bus.
As a result of the collision, the cars caught fire, and the section of the road from Rivne and Lvov was completely blocked. The patrol police organized a detour for drivers.
44 rescuers and 7 units of fire equipment worked at the scene to put out the fire. In order to pick up the victims, 7 ambulances arrived. The fire was localized around 22:30. After the fire, only a metal frame remained from the bus.
In the morning, the police reported that they could not identify the driver, as well as the data of 3 passengers. At the same time, as of now, the faces of all 38 participants in the terrible accident have been identified.
