Information about the beating of MP Alexander Dubinsky, suspected of treason, in a pre-trial detention center has not been confirmed.
This was stated by the press service of the Kyiv police.
It is indicated that the police received a message from a lawyer that for two days his client, a people’s deputy, previously detained by the SBU on suspicion of treason, was subjected to bodily harm while in the pre-trial detention center.

An investigative team from the Kyiv police arrived at the penitentiary to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
“Based on the results of the inspection and forensic research, the information contained in the message was not confirmed,” the message says.
Previously, Dubinsky's lawyers claimed that he was beaten by unknown persons on December 2. He is now in the Lukyanovsky pre-trial detention center. The administration claims that immediately after the people’s deputy was beaten, they called an ambulance, which found numerous bruises. There are also suspicions of rib fractures.
Recently, people's deputy Alexander Dubinsky was informed of suspicion of high treason. According to the Security Service of Ukraine, he collaborated with Russian intelligence services and was an agent with the call sign Buratino.
