The Pentagon told whether they found evidence of leakage of American weapons from Ukraine

The United States continues to transfer weapons to Ukraine to protect against Russian aggression. The Russians are dispersing stuffing that we are selling American weapons. Did the Pentagon find evidence of this?

Celeste Wallander, Undersecretary of Defense for International Security, decided to shed light on this issue. She completely destroyed the stuffing that the Russians are actively spreading so that Ukraine receives much fewer weapons from the allies.

Is Ukraine transferring American weapons further?

According to Vollander, the United States has not found any evidence that American weapons provided to our state were taken out of Ukraine.

At the same time, we see Ukrainian frontline units making effective use of security assistance on the battlefield on a daily basis,” she stressed.

Wallander stressed that the United States has adapted its accountability tactics to combat conditions. This avoids the illegal redirection of aid provided by Washington.

Lieutenant General Douglas Sims noted that there are no reports that American weapons have disappeared from Ukraine. And, the Pentagon official emphasizes, the Ukrainians themselves are by no means interested in getting rid of him.

Some weapons could get to the Russians

The corresponding assumption was made by the US Deputy Secretary of Defense for Political Affairs Colin Kahl. According to him, certain types of weapons could actually get to the enemy during the battle. And this “always happens” in war conditions. But there is no evidence that “Ukrainians are diverting weapons to the black market.”

Kahl emphasized that our state uses American weapons “with maximum efficiency.” He also added that the Armed Forces of Ukraine need more systems from Washington.

Ukraine will get more air defense

  • In 2023, Ukraine will receive 2 more short-range air defense systems from Germany. Armin Papperger, CEO of the German concern Rheinmetall AG, spoke about this.
  • We are talking about Skynex systems, which were ordered by the German government. They will cost 212 million dollars. Papperger noted that under other conditions, the country would use this air defense for its own defense.
  • Note that Skynex is able to effectively shoot at a distance of up to 4 kilometers. It fires a thousand shots per minute. And they use it, for example, to destroy drones.
