The Pentagon published such a statement after a telephone conversation between Austin and Reznikov. The US congressman also said that when Ukraine will receive HIMARS, missiles for 300 kilometers and fighter jets.

The US commented on the provision of HIMARS

Lloyd Austin assured Alexei Reznikov that The United States is trying to deliver equipment to Ukraine as soon as possible, the Pentagon said.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov also reported on the situation on the ground. Moreover, the ministers:

• discussed the results of the recent meeting of the Ukrainian Defense Contact Group (Ramstein 4);
• agreed to maintain close coordination.
