The media write about plans for funding from the Pentagon, citing American officials. Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis announced the likelihood of paying Starlink from the EU. which was used to supply weapons and equipment to Ukraine.

In addition, according to Landsbergis, the payment for Starlink in Ukraine was discussed during a meeting of 27 EU foreign ministers on October 17. The diplomat stressed that access to the Internet for Ukraine should not remain in the hands of one “superpowerful” person who can refuse funding in one day. We are talking about the Mask.

Therefore, the official noted that it is better to have an agreement between a coalition of countries that could purchase the Starlink service and provide it to Ukrainians.

Musk withdrew the request

Elon Musk published a new tweet where he wrote that SpaceX had already withdrawn its request for funding Starlink in Ukraine.

Musk said that 25,300 terminals were sent to Ukraine, but allegedly only 10,630 pay for the service.
