The areas of the Kyiv region liberated from Russian occupation are gradually returning to life. They are rebuilding destroyed roads and supplying electricity and gas to houses.

This was announced on April 26 by Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko, Channel 24 reports.

The restoration of the regions liberated from the invaders does not stop for a single day,” the official said.

According to him, in the Kyiv region:

• actively restore the destroyed bridges and roads;
• one hundred and seventy kilometers of tracks were cleared;
• traffic was resumed at eleven temporary crossings;
• more than half of the buildings in the region again with light – more than 80 thousand subscribers alive;
• completely or gas distribution was partially restored in 160 settlements.

Kyrylo Tymoshenko also said that almost 30% of all consumers in Borodyanka are provided with water, including water in the hospital. In turn, in the villages of Novoye Zalesye and Filippovichi, water supply was completely restored.
