The other day in France, the court released on bail the fugitive Ukrainian oligarch Konstantin Zhevago. The Office of the Prosecutor General has already reacted to this, noting that they are carefully cooperating with the French law enforcement agencies to extradite the former people's deputy.
Prosecutor General Andrey Kostin noted that Zhevago was not only released on bail, but also placed a number of obligations on him.
These obligations, according to Kostin, are broad enough and give reason to believe that the French colleagues will ensure the participation of this person in the next meeting.
For its part, the Office of the Prosecutor General provided the French colleagues with all the necessary documents for the extradition of the former People's Deputy to Ukraine for prosecution. The law enforcement agencies of the two countries continue to cooperate closely to successfully resolve this issue.
We will fight for the extradition of all those suspected of crimes against Ukraine and Ukrainians. Our goal is the inevitability of punishment,” the Prosecutor General emphasized.
What preceded this

- appear three times a week to the police and others.
What is the fugitive oligarch accused of?
The businessman is suspected of setting up a $113 million embezzlement mechanism. The property of the businessman and related legal entities was seized.
By the way, in October 2020, the arrested assets of Zhevago worth more than 300 million hryvnias were transferred to the National Agency for Identification, Search and Management of Assets.
