The Ukrainian military not only moderates the enemy from advancing, but they themselves effectively attack. Almost every day the flag of Ukraine is raised in new liberated settlements.
Russian invaders continue to conduct offensive operations in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions. The situation at the front remains tense.
Over the past day, on October 9, the occupiers launched 10 missile and 19 air strikes, and also carried out more than 90 shelling with MLRS. More than 30 settlements were hit. Among them are Zaporozhye, Slavyansk, Novobakhmutovka, Seversk, Belogorovka, Nikopol and Blagodativka.

What is the situation in the main directions of the front
- In the Seversk direction, the enemy fired mortars and cannon artillery at Popovka, Starikov, Vorozhba, Yanzhulovka and Miropolye;
- to Slobozhansky direction – Krasnaya Zarya, Veterinary, Strelecha, Malye Prokhody, Volchansk, Kamenka, Dvuhletnaya and Grinkovka;
- to Kramatorsk direction – Pervomaiskoye, Seversk, Makeevka, Novoegorovka, Stelmahovka, Terny, Torskoye and Zarechnoye. In Svatov, the Russians blew up the railway and road bridges;
- in the Bakhmut directionenemy fire covered Razdolovka, Serebryanka, Belogorovka, Verkhnekamenskoye, Zaitsevo, Krasnaya Gora, Soledar. Near Berestovoye, the enemy mined the area;
- on the Avdeevka direction, the Russians shelled Avdeevka, Kamenka, Vodyanoye, Pervomayskoye, Peski, Krasnogorovka and Maryinka;
- on More than 20 settlements were subjected to shelling in the Novopavlovsk and Zaporozhye directions; The Russians made at least 30 UAV sorties to conduct aerial reconnaissance.
