Russia has enormous losses in a full-scale war against Ukraine. But the invaders have a chance to escape.

Russian opposition journalist Timur Olevsky told Channel 24 about this, noting that a statement on this matter was made by Russian State Duma deputy Andrei Kartapolov.

“They were told: “If you don’t kill your officers, the teachers who force you to fight, the political workers who lie, deceive, drive them into tanks with shovels, the people who started this war, you will die anyway,” Olevsky said.< /p>

The Russian opposition journalist added that the only chance for the invaders to escape is tokill those who sent them to war.We note that for Russians there is another way to survive – tosurrender captivity of the Ukrainian army.

The resource will not be submissive

Timur Olevsky added that Vladimir Putin is not going to issue any decrees to end the war. The Russian dictator expects that he can supposedly “win” the war thanks to the only weapons the Russian army has. This, as it seems to the Russian President, is about the supposedly “endless” resource of people.

The words that he is “ready to negotiate” mean only one thing: unsure that this resource will be as submissive, silently sent “to the slaughter”, and will not try to do anything to protect himself, like the pilot who was in the helicopter flew to the Ukrainian side, the Russian opposition journalist is convinced.

By the way, as noted by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Moscow Region, after the special operation “Tit”, when a Russian pilot flew a Russian Mi-8 helicopter to Ukraine, the number of occupiers willing to surrender increased by almost 70%.

Russian losses in the war and the possibility of surrender

  • The Russian army has huge losses in the war in Ukraine. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Ukrainian defenders have killed 272,320 Russian troops. Over the past 24 hours alone, on September 16, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed another 530 occupiers.
  • The invaders, who do not want to become war criminals, are actively surrendering to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Basically, they leave their applications in the “I want to live” project. According to Ukrainian intelligence representative Andrei Yusov, since the project began, 25 thousand Russians have already submitted applications.
  • The UN said that Russian prisoners of war were satisfied with the treatment they received during their detention in Ukraine. Some of them are even surprised. They are housed in barracks-type buildings, fed, provided with bedding, clothing and hygiene products. Medical assistance is also provided if necessary. Prisoners work, have leisure time and maintain contact with their families.
