Haruk noted that the fact of conducting command-and-staff exercises, and also a military game, is not something new or exceptional. Before the Slobozhan operation, the Kharkov offensive, similar command and staff exercises were also held.

One is an offensive on the northern segment of the front, that is, in the Luhansk region, Kremennaya – Svatovo, and the second option is a strike to the South, to Melitopol – Berdyansk, – the military expert noted.
He added that the second option is the most tempting for the organization, but rather difficult. If it succeeds, one can hope that the overland communication with the Crimea, which is barely vegetating there, will actually be cut off. Then there will be a question for the Russians what to do with the grouping on the left bank of Kherson.
