Russian administrations in the occupied territories of Ukraine use educational organizations to cover up the deportation of Ukrainians to Russia.
This is reported by analysts at the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
So, on December 20, the Kherson regional occupation administration reported that six families, which the Russian authorities had previously taken from Kherson and other areas of the region, went on an alleged vacation to Sochi from December 8 to 18 with the public educational organization Znanie.

These families were most likely taken out back in November 2022.
ISW assesses that Russia's so-called evacuation of the civilian population of Kherson and the Kherson region in 2022 was part of a larger scheme to deport large groups of Ukrainians, in clear violation of international law.
