Occupiers ruthlessly attack in the Krivoy Rog direction/NPO Splav
Russian troops continued to hard shelling in the Krivoy Rog direction. They attack with multiple launch rocket systems.
Cases of shelling by “Grads”, “Tornados” and “Tornados” have been recorded. The head of the Krivoy Rog military administration Oleksandr Vilkul described the situation in detail in his report for the day. This was reported by Channel 24 with reference to his appeal.
Several communities were shelled
The Russians are not just shelling civilians, but using, in particular, cluster munitions. There were shellings in the area of several communities:
- Novovorontsovskaya;
- Vysokopolske;
- Kochubeevskaya;
- Apostolovskaya.
These weapons are extremely dangerous for civilians
It should be noted that cluster munitions are prohibited by the Geneva Convention. This is due to the fact that they are extremely dangerous for the civilian population in the combat zone.
Since the beginning of the war, our pyrotechnicians and sappers have already eliminated more than 1500 of these barbaric ammunition (Cassette – Channel 24 ). They can explode, already on the ground, in a day, some can explode within a week or a month, Vilkul emphasized.
He added that sometimes there are explosions from temperature changes. However, some of these explosive devices may not be visible. For example, when stuck in the ground under the grass.

An elderly man was severely injured
The head of the administration said that a terrible event had happened that day in the village of Malaya Kostromka. There, a civilian collected 7 such “cassettes”. He brought them to his house and began to disassemble. This led to an explosion.
The elderly man survived, but was badly injured and was taken to the hospital. In total, since February 24, six people have died from cluster munition explosions in the Krivoy Rog region.

Important ! If you see suspicious items, do not approach or take them. You should immediately call 101 and 102. After all, following these rules can save lives. Also, be sure to tell the kids about this. Because cluster munitions don't look like normal projectiles, they might pick them up out of curiosity. Often the victims of this type of weapons are minors.
