Mariupol residents, who remained in the city under blockade, are without communication. The Russians, despite all the promises, did not give them the cards of their Phoenix operator. There are also problems with the products.

This was announced by the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, Petr Andryushchenko. He noted that you can buy SIM cards only in Mangush, and they stopped issuing them for free altogether.

The queue for a SIM card is more than 2 thousand people

However, there in Mangush, the queue reaches 2 thousand people, and only 100-150 cards are issued per day. Another problem is that it is impossible to replenish “Phoenix” from Ukrainian or European accounts. This can only be done from the occupied territories.

As for the Internet, it appears at three wi-fi points in the city twice a day: from 8:00 to 9:00 and from 14:00 to 15 :00 o'clock.

Russians are lying about “improving life” in Mariupol

Russian propagandists are spreading news about the so-called “improving life” in Mariupol. However, Andryushchenko notes, the real state of affairs is significantly different.

To provide 350,000 Mariupol residents with social bread during the first week of the war, the Mariupol City Council, together with businesses, launched a bakery. Bread was baked per day (before the destruction of the bakery by the shelling of the invaders) – 30 tons of bread, Andryushchenko explained.

The Russians also launched a bakery to provide bread not only to Mariupol, but to Volnovakha and the surrounding villages. They bake only 2 tons of bread per day. At the same time, about 130 thousand people remained in Mariupol itself.
