< strong _ngcontent-sc86="">For two months now, tens of hundreds of Russian missiles have been flying into Ukraine. However, enemy weapons have certain features that do not “play into the hands of the aggressor”.

Despite the fact that Russia boasts and is very proud of its missiles, they have problems. Alexander Musienko, head of the Center for Military Legal Research, said this on Channel 24.

What is the situation with missiles in the Russian army

Of course, they bring us great harm, but the Russians have a number of such problems with missiles, in particular:

  • More and more frequent failures are recorded

This leads to the fact that missiles either do not hit the target, or fall nearby and do not explode, or do not reach at all.

For example, when in Belgorod -3 rockets flew to Dnestrovsk, one hit, another fell nearby, the other – somewhere in the water, – Musienko said.

As early as March 25, there was information from the United States that from 20 to 40, sometimes up to 50% of cases, failures occur with Russian missiles.

Help. The US Department of Defense reported that Russia had committed more 1,900 rocket launches in 63 days of war against Ukraine. At the same time, almost all air strikes were carried out from Russian air bases. However, approximately 700-800 missiles missed their target, Musienko added.

  • Problems with targeting and old technologies

Russians have all technology – chips , processors, other equipment – either copyrighted by the United States or most of Taiwan. They were supplied before 2014. They are also having problems with this now.

Most other missiles have boards from the 1960s and 1970s, that is, from old stocks. Moreover, the occupiers have no resources for renewal and modernization.

“Obviously, after the tightening of sanctions by the United States, Europe and Taiwan, in particular, the Russians are deprived of access to important technologies,” the expert explained.
