The main thing about the situation in the South on July 22/Collage of Channel 24

On July 22, the occupying troops of Russia began to mine the coast in the temporarily captured southerners of Ukraine. This is due to the fact that they fear the threat of an amphibious landing by Ukrainian forces.

In general, the situation in this operational zone is tense, but controlled by our defenders. This was reported in the operational summary for the day of the command “South”.

What problems do the invaders have in Kherson

Currently, in Kherson, temporarily occupied by the enemy, they are trying to resume the work of the occupied enterprises. But, according to our intelligence, as of July 22, the occupying “authorities” do not have sufficient support. Therefore, they cannot yet find a sufficient number of specialists.

To do this, the invaders even “resumed work” in the Employment Center they seized. At the same time, they are already trying to instill a pro-Russian worldview among young people. To do this, they carry out activities of the so-called “military-patriotic education”.

At the same time, fearing a landing, the occupying troops bypass the coast, summed up in OK “South”.

The enemy attacked with aircraft and MLRS

So far, Russian troops are not conducting an active offensive in the southern regions. And yet, despite the continuation of the defensive actions, they also strike.

In particular, during the day a pair of enemy Ka-52 attack helicopters attacked the vicinity of Andreevka. Fortunately, not a single defender died as a result of this.

And in the afternoon, the Russians launched an attack with Grad multiple launch rocket systems. In total, 60 shells were fired at the village of Kanevskoye in Zaporozhye. All hits were on open coastal areas and islands in the Dnieper River. Therefore, there are no losses or destruction.

The aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit the concentrations of enemies

Ukrainian pilots of attack aircraft and helicopters traditionally continued to destroy the occupiers that day. They dealt 4 blows to two enemy strongholds in the Kherson region. They also hit the accumulation of enemy forces and equipment in the Nikolaev region.

Losses of Russians in the South on July 22:

  • 93 servicemen of the Russian army;
  • reactive volley fire system “Grad”,
  • 3 armored personnel carriers BTR-82;
  • 2 self-propelled powerful guns “Pion”;
  • 6 military vehicles;
  • ammo storage.
