Cherson activist Vladimir Molchanov told this for Channel 24. He noted that the Russians are trying to repair yet another damage to the Antonovsky Bridge.
“Before that, there was the destruction of the base of the collaborators' enterprise, which was actively repairing bridges. Now some company from Voronezh has arrived. There are only engineering and technical personnel,” Molchanov said.
They can't recruit workers
According to the activist, the Russians recruit workers, oddly enough, in Kherson. They want to find at least handymen.
They pay 4 thousand rubles a day. They are looking for laborers who would agree to risk their lives to repair. So far, they have not recruited enough staff. It is not known whether they will be able to start the repair, – said Molchanov.
He noted that the Russians can use pontoon crossings and they have the opportunity to escape. the occupiers announced that the bridge would be opened on August 10, but that was before the last hit and damage to Russian equipment operating there.
“After that, there are no statements. The bridge is closed to any traffic except It is blocked by checkpoints. We don't know if they can even let light vehicles through,” Molchanov added.
The last strike on the bridge, which is logistically important for the group of infidels on the right bank of the Dnieper in southern Ukraine, was reported on the night of August 9th. Ukrainian defenders used HIMARS missiles. The object connects Kherson with Oleshki and is the main transport artery on the way to the Crimea.
