More and more children suffer from Russian armed aggression/DW
Russian invaders not only destroy Ukrainian cities, but also deprive Ukraine of the future – its children. Unfortunately, the number of victims of Russian aggression continues to grow.
According to juvenile prosecutors, as of the morning of June 11, more than 779 children suffered in Ukraine as a result of Russia's full-scale armed aggression.
According to official information from juvenile prosecutors, of them:
- 287 children died,
- more than 492 were injured.
Please note! These figures are not final, as work is underway to establish them in areas of active combat actions, in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
Children suffered the most in:
- Donetsk region – 217,
- Kharkiv region – 132,
- Kyiv region – 116,
- Chernihiv region – 68,
- Lugansk region – 53,< /li>
- Kherson – 52,
- Mykolaiv – 48,
- Zaporozhye – 30,
- Sumy – 17,
- city of Kyiv – 16,
- Zhytomyr – 15.
The last cases of death and injury of children
During the recording of criminal offenses, it became known about the death of another 24 children in Mariupol, Donetsk region, as a result of indiscriminate shelling by the Russian military. /p>
In general, 1971 educational institutions were damaged due to bombing and shelling by the Russian armed forces. Of these, 194 were completely destroyed.
The project of the National Rehabilitation Center “Indestructible” was presented in Lviv
On June 10, the Donor Forum took place in Lviv. It presented the project of the National Rehabilitation Center “Indestructible”. The rehabilitation center will operate on the basis of the First Territorial Medical Association of Lviv. He will have a powerful physical, psychological and psychosocial rehabilitation. There will be reconstructive surgery, orthopedics and robotic prosthetics. Victims will not only be fitted with prostheses, they will be produced here.
It is planned that more than 50,000 patients will be admitted to the center every year and more than 10,000 operations will be performed. At the same time, not only will prostheses be installed for the victims, they will be produced there.
The General Director of the First Medical Association of Lviv, Oleg Samchuk, said that Ukrainian specialists have already come up with and experimentally launched robotic prosthetics. In particular, they made a robot arm that completely replaces a limb. It will be installed next week.
